This 6-week course builds on the skills learned in Level 1 classes and puts more emphasis on proofing established behaviors under differing conditions.  We will work on maintaining focus on you and the job at hand amidst distractions while building in duration and distance with your dog. 

Skills take time, practice and good coaching to develop.  Our classes are broken down into smaller and more achievable tasks with clearly stated goals.  It's also why we don't introduce distraction training in Level 1.  We will continue to build this into the skills covered in Level 1 such as sit, down, stand, automatic sit, stay, hand targeting, recall and heeling. 

Each class builds on the previous week's material so it's important that you attend every class.  If you must miss class for any reason, the exercises you missed will be reviewed at the start of the next class.  

 

Class requirements: Successfully complete Canine Connection Level 1. Sign our training agreement and provide proof of immunizations (Rabies, DHLPP, & Bordetella vaccines) prior to the first class.
